Hello World Builders,

We have just 9 days left until World Build 3 officially kicks off with our global online hack.

Here’s the news this week:

  • Join us on the airwaves this Friday for World's Lift Off event, an update on the latest advances from World. The live event from SF will be hosted by Alex Blania and Sam Altman. More info here.

  • If you are looking for inspiration on what to build with World, read our Request for Builders, where Leighton Cusack, Head of Ecosystem at Tools for Humanity, shares the areas he believes builders will win.

  • Last week, our partner PL_Genesis announced their winners for the Frontiers of Collaboration Hackathon; huge shoutout to our winner, Open Bands - Stratos, of the Human Centric App Challenge.

    Events for your diary

    • Come to our launch events: Are you based in Seoul or NYC? Make sure to RSVP for our in-person launch event on Thursday, 23rd April. Join the TfH and World Build team in person, along with other speakers. For those who can’t make it in person, we’ll be streaming both events live and will email a calendar invite for the events with dial-in instructions. We’ll also be sharing the recording of both post-event. You can sign up for New York here and Seoul here.

    • Join us across the globe for IRL coworking alongside other hackers. For those hacking from Seoul, Tokyo, NYC, and San Francisco, we will host a pop-up coworking session in each city on Friday, April 24th. Join other hackers and us for a day of focused hacking and insights from the TfH and World Build teams.

IMPORTANT: all hack information and updates will be made via our Telegram group. Please join our Telegram Group if you have not already done so. We’ll use this to coordinate all hack info and help teams discuss ideas and find teammates. You can ask us questions directly in our TG channel — come say hi!

If you are looking forward to some hacking, World Build 3 Applications close April 23rd, don't miss it!
