We have just 3 days left until World Build 3 officially kicks off with our global online hack.
Last Friday, World had big announcements coming up in the Lift Off event. Here's a TLDR:
World is launching a dedicated World ID app (currently in beta), allowing users to manage credentials and authenticate seamlessly across platforms.
On the integration side, World is expanding to platforms like Tinder, which will allow users to display a “verified human” badge, and with Zoom, is developing “Deep Face” to verify that meeting participants are real humans and not deepfakes. DocuSign is also integrating proof of humanity into digital agreements, bringing identity verification into online transactions. With World, Vercel is bringing human-in-the-loop verification to devs building with Vercel’s open-source Workflow SDK; learn more here.
World introduced “Concert Kit,” enabling artists to distribute tickets directly to verified individuals and reduce bot-driven scalping. Gaming and online communities are another focus, with partnerships with Razer and Mythical Games.
On the AI side, we have AgentKit, the toolset that allows developers to attach human verification credentials to AI agents. This enables agents to act on behalf of real, verified individuals, unlocking more trusted automation.
